Passive income it’s everyone’s dream, but how can you do it as a coach? What if I told you that you could be making $100 of income without having to work with a one-on-one client, do a group coaching session, or even get on a LIVE stream? We’re talking about making money in your sleep! Today I’m telling you how to make $100 in passive income a day!
Before we get started, these tips are going to be based on making passive income via a course. Therefore you’ll need a course to apply these tips. However, I have a ton of resources and content to help you get started if you’re still in the beginning stages of that part. I also want to acknowledge that this isn’t your big, major launch course we’re talking about. When talking about how you make $100 in passive income a day, I’m referring to your lower-ticket offers. Like a mini-training, a smaller intro course, or a bundle. Something that’s usually under $100 and a “no-brainer” cost for potential clients.
Passive income for coaches is the result of selling a self-paced course. Meaning that you create a product/course, your clients purchase or download it, go through it on their own, and then they get the results. There’s no guiding, or LIVE streams, or any interaction on your part. You just make it one time and it generates money on its own.
How to Make $100 in Passive Income a Day Step One: Create a Great Product.
This product HAS to help your clients get results. The way that I recommend that you do this is to do some sort of live workshop presale and charge people to show up live. Don’t just create the course on your own and then put it out there. You might miss some things that should be included.
There are some questions that your clients might have, and you won’t have an idea of what else should be talked about unless you host it live. When you host it live, you’re able to co-create with your ideal target audience. You can answer their burning questions right there in the training, and you can create supplemental content, worksheets, downloads, additional tutorials, or videos that you can include inside of your course.
How to Make $100 in Passive Income a Day Step Two: Sell the Heck Out of It!
Firstly, I recommend that you promote it the very first time you create it. When you pre-sell, tell everybody about it, get them excited and make sure that you’re making the sales before you actually make the course. It’s a great accountability mechanism, but it also gets people to show up because they see the value, and they’re willing to help you co-create.
Then once the course is completed, tell your email list! Tell everybody that, “Hey, it’s done, it’s available. You can go download it, consume it, and purchase it now!”
Don’t stop selling once you’re done with it, really leverage and get the most out of the work you’ve done.
A sales tip is to get very clear and specific with what’s in your course, and the outcome that your client is going to get from it. When you have that one clear outcome, it’s a lot easier to describe the transformation is and what your client is going to get.
How to Make $100 in Passive Income a Day Step Three: Get People to Consume it.
When you create a lower ticket offer like this you’re going to get people who buy on a whim. They buy on an impulse. They buy because they felt like purchasing something that day, or they just saw it and it piqued their interest for a moment. This buy had the chance of not taking the time to actually consume it, and that means you’re not going to get the feedback and the testimonials that you need.
The best way to ensure your customer is getting their full worth out of the course, is after you host it live, go ahead and ask for testimonials and feedback. You can also put some processes in place where you’re following up with them and asking them to consume.
For example, one of my passive income products is called package and profit. And it’s one that we sell hundreds of copies of every month, honestly. And this product is a very high-value product, but I want to make sure that everyone who purchases it goes through it and gets that result. What I do is I say, “Hey, if you watch all the videos and you do all the work, just let me know once you’re done, and I’ll enter you to win a free mini-coaching session with me.”
My goal when getting people to consume is to get that feedback. To get those results and make sure that my customers can see that I’m somebody who can help them. That makes them much more likely to purchase another offer, program, or work with me one-on-one.
How to Make $100 in Passive Income a Day Step Four: Create a Simple Sales Funnel.
My very favorite way of creating a simple sales funnel is just live stream or YouTube video directly into the purchase page. The point is to grab the attention of your customer right away, say, “Hey, is this something that you’d like?”, and then here’s how you purchase it.
Another option for your sales funnel is to create an immediate upsell funnel. This looks like a free offer that takes them to a “thank you” page. Then on the “thank you” page is where you would offer the passive income product.
